Idiopathic Infertility

Idiopathic infertility is diagnosed after all other medically known symptoms of infertility are excluded. This category includes 5 – 10 % of all infertile couples. Artificial insemination even without determining the exact cause of infertility is the usual recommendation. Couples diagnosed with idiopathic infertility have a 40 – 60% chance of conceiving in the 4 years following treatment. Success depends on how complicated a treatment the couple is willing to undergo.
